Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Engineer to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will help drive process improvements, optimize manufacturing operations, and implement cutting-edge technologies that enhance our performance and deliver outstanding value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve manufacturing, production, and business processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop process flow diagrams, documentation, SOPs, and facility layouts to streamline operations.
- Apply Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Conduct time studies and workflow analyses to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, engineering, and quality control teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize operational risks and improve workplace safety.
- Leverage data analysis, modeling, and performance metrics to guide decision-making.
- Design, test, and implement efficient manufacturing and production processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineers, quality teams, and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Research and integrate advanced technologies and automation systems for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with process optimization, Lean methodologies, and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in simulation and data analysis tools.
- CAD experience (Inventor preferred).
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Experience with process modeling software and automation tools.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $82,000 – $120,000 per year
